Divisional Office Supervisor - Oakland

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California is seeking qualified applicants for a Divisional Office Supervisor position in the Oakland office. The court has divisional offices in Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose. Two judges and six staff comprise the Oakland divisional office.

The Divisional Office Supervisor performs a full range of functional duties as well as some supervisory responsibilities. The incumbent is administratively and technically responsible for supervising the staff in the Oakland divisional offices and for overseeing the work performed by employees in the courtrooms and intake function in the divisional offices. The Divisional Office Supervisor works closely with the Clerk of Court, Chief Deputy and other Divisional Office Supervisors in developing, identifying, drafting and implementing best practices in both operations and administration. This position reports directly to the Chief Deputy. The incumbent is expected to be a self-starter who will assist or perform any required duty in the divisional office.

                             CL 28, $89,488 - $145,507
                             CL 29, $106,437 - $172,993
                             Commensurate with qualifications and in accordance with the Guide to Judiciary Policy. 
                             Position has promotion potential up to CL-29 without further competition.
